In 2010 I was fortunate to aquire a collection of letters from Sutherland to the BBC producer Margaret McCall. These letters, and some associated correspondence, were concerned with the making of a TV programme about the maestro's return to Pembrokeshire after some 20 years based in the french Riviera. This material has never previously been in the public domain, I think. They reveal .....

Two of these letters are currently exhibited as part of the National Museum of Wales 'Changing Landscapes' exhibition at Oriel y Parc gallery, St Davids. Over the coming months I will rotate a display ofthese letters on this webpage. The most important of these will probably be offered for sale-preferably as one lot-in due course.
